SAVING LIVES EVERY DAY!

Imagine a municipal animal shelter where every single animal arriving at our doors gets their second chance at life!

At Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center, (SPARC,) no animal is euthanized for space, behavior, old age, injury or illness, (unless a veterinarian tells us the animal is irremediably suffering and cannot be helped.)

SPARC took in 1700 animals in 2023 and we expect over 1800 in 2024! This included 700 kittens, 714 dogs and over 300 cats. Not to mention birds, fish, tortoises, turtles, rabbits, chickens and more. Every creature receives the medical care it needs and every mammal is spayed, neutered & vaccinated!

When they're healthy enough for adoption, every pet is put up for adoption and we do everything possible to find them a loving, forever home as soon as possible.

We are passionate about saving lives! But we couldn't do what we do, without equally passionate animal lovers like you, to support our efforts, so please DONATE your gift to our animals, today?

The City of Santa Paula provides only 11% of our annual expenses. It costs us $1.5 million to care for and give every animal arriving at SPARC, their second chance at life and as a 501C3, strictly NO KILL animal shelter, we have to rely generosity of animal lovers, just like you to support our lifesaving work.

Thank you so much for caring about the animals at SPARC and for supporting a shelter that believes every animal is precious and deserves their second chance at life!!
